At the core of the American Sewing Guild are the Neighborhood Groups. In our chapter, each neighborhood group offers sewing enthusiasts:
- educational programs – demos, lectures, exposure to the new and unknown
- show & tell, sharing, and asking questions
- connecting and networking with other sewing enthusiasts
- special programs
We welcome visitors! You can attend up to two neighborhood groups before deciding to join ASG. If you would like to become a member, use the Online Application at the ASG Website.
ASG members may attend an unlimited number of neighborhood groups (NGs) and are encouraged to bring finished projects to share. If you plan to visit a group, we recommend you contact the leader in advance to verify the meeting time and location, as schedules can change. Visit our calendar page for additional program information.
ASG members can attend any and all neighborhood groups anywhere ASG has a chapter. If you’re traveling to another region of the country, find out about the ASG chapter there and see what they have going on! Visit the national ASG site to find out about other ASG chapters.
If you would like to contact the leader of a specific Neighborhood Group, visit the Contact page or click the button below, complete the form and select the neighborhood group that you would like more information.
